The major combines coursework in 教育 和 心理学 to provide students with a firm grounding in developmental 心理学 和 the principles of elementary instruction 和 assessment.
Students majoring in 儿童发展 和 Education have the option to seek certification (入学 & Certification Requirements for Level I Professional Certification) in the State of Pennsylvania for Early Childhood Certification in grades PreK-4 和/or Grades 4-8 for Language Arts or 数学 or Science or Social Studies.
特殊教育 PreK-8 is an available option for PreK-4 和 Grades 4-8 certification c和idates majoring in 儿童发展 和 Education.
